Fun-Sized Trip!

Indian Trails Mini-Golf

Trip Theme - Fun-Sized Trip!

Trip Overview/Things to do
This trip was mostly on residential roads, and mostly flat. When we arrive at the destination, we can play mini-golf on two different courses. If your not feeling like playing mini-golf, you can even skate at the nearby Skateworld! Indian Trails Mini-Golf also has ice-cream available to purchase!

Today we started the day with a quick ride to Indian Trails Mini Golf. The ride was mostly through residential areas, and only included crossing a few major roads. We needed to cross intersections while following Ohio cycling laws that give us rules to follow when crossing an intersection on a bicycle. We had a fun time on our fun-sized trip! spending a morning with a friendly competition of miniature golf! On our ride back we made sure to remember to be safe on the road, and got back to DRSS to share our golfing stories over lunch.

Directions

We rated this route a 1 out of 5 because it is mostly flat and is so short. Here is the link to the trail we created on Google Maps so you can view it or change it. The trip was about 8 miles round trip, and lasted about 24 minutes one-way.

Most Memorable Experience

The most memorable moment of our trip was in the middle of the course, everyone hit the ball and almost had a few hole in ones, but the last person, Sam, hit the ball a lot harder than needed and the ball went over the wall, hit a rock, and landed in the river! With a little help from his club, he fished it out of the river.

Things Learned

We learned that some days it is good to take a break from long rides and have some fun with friendly competitions. Even though we rode 14 miles, we still had fun, on a fairly easy route. Taking a break or taking it easy for a day like we did helps your body recover from a longer bike ride and stay active.

  1. I found this trip very enjoyable. I learned that I am not the best mini golf player.

  2. Sterling Says.......I liked this trip. I learned that you should always bring gloves/ appropriate gear to a bike ride, because if it gets cold and you don't have the right gear then it can make for a terrible ride. During this ride it was very cold and since i didn't have gloves i had to suffer

  3. I found that it is really a good idea to bring a jacket as weather is always unpredictable, and it can get very chilly while riding.

  5. Patrick Gray: In this trip I learned that I probably shouldn't go to school when i am sick. Despite that this trip was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the mini golf course.
